I took delivery yesterday of a new Ford S-Max and wanted to write to you personally to acknowledge and highly commend your team, and in particular Stephen Brown, Customer Advisor.

We bought our first S-Max in 2009 from Lawrence of Kemnay – thanks to the service and professionalism of Stephen. This car served us very well and the aftersales service was excellent. When the time came to replace it, I concluded after various test drives in Aberdeen city that the S-Max remained the car for our needs. Having had some less than ideal sales experiences in Aberdeen City, I visited your Inverurie site one Sunday afternoon, unannounced, in November 2015 with my daughter. As soon as we walked in to the showroom, Stephen came over and said “Good afternoon Dr Denison”. This was an astonishing feat of memory recall and my daughter whispered to me in breathless astonishment “Dad – how does he do that?”.  Not only did he have phenomenal recall but he sealed the deal quickly, thoughtfully, and with humour and pragmatism. He also kept me fully informed between the time of order and delivery.

Yesterday, at handover, it was very clear that he had prepared thoroughly for the process and patiently explained the mechanics of the towbar and the various in-car functions.

So – to conclude, I wanted you to know that I am extremely satisfied and look forwards to continuing to recommend LoK and your highly trained and competent staff. Do please pass on my thanks to Stephen in whichever way you think appropriate.
